What to watch out for when ordering a website
Speed on mobile. Most visitors come from a phone, and if the site loads slowly, they leave. Ask your vendor how the site scores in Google PageSpeed Insights, and check it yourself.
Required information. In the EU, businesses must show their legal name, registration details and address on their website. If the site collects data through a form, it also needs a privacy notice.
Access. After launch, you should have access to the website, the hosting and the domain. A website from us is yours, and you can move it anywhere at any time.
A CMS only where it makes sense. It helps when content changes often. If it doesn’t, hand-written code is faster, more secure and doesn’t need constant plugin updates.
